Following on from the month-long antics of February’s fashion weeks, we’re excited to say that the action is far from over. What is it that they say? Fashion never sleeps? Well, prepare for even more high design goodness because throughout the spring season, some major fashion houses will be jetting across the globe to show their 2025 cruise, pre-fall and pre-spring collections. Here, we’ve rounded up all the international outings so you don’t have to. You’re welcome. Save your energy for the shows!

Starting stateside, Maria Grazia Chiuri and co will be jetting off to New York where Dior will present its women’s pre-fall collection at the Brooklyn Museum on April 15. According to a statement made by the maison, the collection will pay tribute to the “unwavering ties forged between Dior and the United States from the very beginning of the house,” and will reaffirm the “symbolic and powerful alliance” uniting Dior and the Brooklyn Museum, who collaborated on the exhibition Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams back in 2021.

Just three days later, Louis Vuitton is jet setting across the globe for its very own special location show. Destination? Shanghai, China. Aptly dubbed The Voyager Show, the women’s pre-fall collection will be unveiled on April 18 at the futuristic Long Museum West Bund, signalling to the maison’s long standing relationship with the country, which extends back to the opening of its first local Louis Vuitton store in 1992 at Beijing’s Peninsula Hotel. West Bund is also where the late Virgil Abloh staged an outdoor fashion spectacle in 2020, and the Long Museum has hosted a pre-fall women’s show in 2021, repeat of a Dior Men show in 2014, and the sprawling “Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams” exhibition in 2020. The Louis Vuitton Voyager Shows, are a new umbrella for the brand’s men’s and women’s pre-fall and cruise collections which will be shown all around the world, with the locale and cultural exchange of each stop informing each collection.

The next stop on our globetrotting tour is Marseille, where Chanel is posited to show its 2025 Cruise collection on May 2. In a statement shared with WWD, Chanel shared that the event will “celebrate the energy and cultural vitality that make it one of the most effervescent places on the Mediterranean coast.” The French Riviera is a natural destination for Parisian house though, with creative director Virginie Viard having previously shown in Les Baux-de-Provence and Monte Carlo.

Next up, Gucci. The Italian label is decamping to London, home of Ten Towers, for a high octane Cruise catwalk slated to take place May 13. Though the exact location remains undisclosed, Gucci’s link to the Big Smoke isn’t quite so secretive. In fact, Monsieur Guccio Gucci who, in 1897, was once a luggage porter and lift boy at the famed Savoy Hotel on The Strand (this is where he became inspired to create his own line of luxury suitcases and bags), and just last year the brand showed its Cosmos exhibition at 180 – also! – The Strand. Perhaps Gucci will take over The Strand this spring? We’ll just have to wait and see. In a statement shared with WWd, the company said London “pays tribute to Gucci’s profound connection to the British capital, intrinsically linked to the brand’s heritage, and offers new opportunities to delve into the integral role the city has played in shaping the brand’s narrative throughout its storied history as a world-renowned symbol of Italian craft, visionary creativity, and innovative design.”

Returning to Europe, Louis Vuitton has also announced a destination for its women’s Cruise 2025 show, and it’s a long way from Shanghai. Out with the soup dumplings and in with the paella, Barcelona, Spain, is its next stop (LV is certainly making good use of its air miles this year). Expected to take place May 23, the show will unfold in tandem with a variety of planned exhibitions, cultural activations and educational programs,” according to the brand. After the show, Louis Vuitton will release its City Guide for Barcelona as well as a slew of educational programs designed to recognize the creative community there, and later in the year the house will host sailing’s biggest event in the city, the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s cup.

Joining LV in Shanghai, Balenciaga will propose its men’s and women’s pre-spring collections on May 30. Demna’s decision to show in the Chinese city links to the country’s place as a linchpin market for the Spanish brand, as it houses more Balenciaga stores than any other country in the world (this includes its largest store, which is located within Shanghai at the IAPM Mall). This will be Demna’s first fashion show in China, although the brand has embarked to the east in the past, showing in China in 2013 and 2014.

Another Dior destination, the French maison is decamping to the UK, announcing earlier this week that it’ll show its women’s 2025 Cruise collection in Scotland on June 3. Poised to take place within the picturesque gardens of Drummond Castle, Grazia Chiuri is expected to continue her age-old tradition of collaborating with local craftspeople for the collection, as well as to pay tribute to the house’s founder, Monsieur Christian Dior who drew inspiration from the country for his 1947 debut, which he named Écosse.

Finally, decamping to the city of winding waterways, beautiful bridges and incredible architecture – Venice, Italy – Max Mara will present its Resort 2025 collection. Slated for June 11, the brand hasn’t unveiled the specific location just yet, but we do know that it’s kicking off on the first day of Pitti Uomo, the international menswear trade show that’ll run in Florence until June 14.

Try not to catch jet lag, this is gonna’ be a whirlwind of a world tour.
