Sener Besim is expanding his gleaming jewellery universe with sleek knitwear. “We feel our proposition of stillness and mindful consumption has a place beyond jewellery,” Sener tells us. “Luxury knitwear made sense to us given its ability to sit outside of Fashion and our ability to apply our minimalist aesthetic. Our aim is to breathe new life into Luxury with our story and our approach." The collection features simple, luxury black and cream pieces in two drops, the first created from a mix of Italian viscose and nylon, and the second from Italian wool and cashmere for the winter. "The creative process for us involves a constant exploration of our aesthetic and in this instance, how we may redefine modern luxury,” Sener says. “Ready to Wear has been such a big part of my life so to be working with Fabrics/Yarn has been gratifying and engaging.
