SAINT LAURENT X ELLADJ LINCY DELOUMEAUX

A new exhibition has entered the Saint Laurent Rive Droite buildings in Paris and Los Angeles to celebrate Paris+ par Art Basel. Anthony Vaccarello has invited Guadeloupe-born, Paris-based artist Elladj Lincy Deloumneaux to exhibit a series of specially commissioned artworks at the Rive Droite stores. Deloumeaux's brilliant works explore everyday life, mythologies, religious history, iconography and the many facets of what the colour black means to him. The series is in collaboration with Cécile Fakhoury gallery, whose aim is to promote contemporary art from across Africa, with an emphasis on artists who reject geographic stigmatisation and aim to deconstruct barriers. The exhibition is on now at the Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores, with 30 artworks on show in Paris, and two large pieces in LA. For those not in Paris or LA to view the exhibition in person, Deloumeaux's must-see work is available to view on the Cécile Fakhoury website.
