If there’s anyone all for flashing your drawers, it’s Miuccia Prada. The recent string of Miu Miu collections have seen Mrs. P fully embrace the art of showing off one’s pants. Whether it was the brand’s SS23 collection, where we treated to tighty whities peeking from beneath micro-minis. Or March’s AW23 knockout, which played out like a frazzled Englishwoman’s day out, where the chaotic Miu Miu muse came armoured in click-clack heels and knickers pulled over delightfully ugly-coloured sheer tights.

Now, the brand takes the gesture one step forward with Miu Miu L’Été, a collection that celebrates the charm of underwear worn as outerwear. The edit sees everything from gauzy slips to signature Miu Miu minis collide with mannish tailoring and sportswear. Highlights include abbreviated bomber jackets, safari dresses, and work shirts equipped with elasticated waistbands. Also on the table are teeny tiny shorts and crochet knitted bras, alongside tweed matching sets and striped woollen jerseys.

A slew of joyous accessories complete the edit, particularly great being a raw denim cowboy hat and a suede open toe ‘Thong’ boot. Proper cheeky.

Girls just want to have fun, and they want to do it in Miu Miu.
