LOEWE PUZZLE FOLD TOTE

|
Written By:

Loewe’s latest bag is puzzling. Literally. Part of the puzzle family, the capacious new Puzzle Fold tote is architecturally malleable, able to be folded like an origami sculpture – who’d have thunk it? Inspired by Jonathan Anderson’s first bag for house (the original Puzzle, which made its initial debut in 2014) and an archive design aptly called the Origami bag, the Puzzle Fold tote emerges from the ripple of a collision between the iconic geometry and flexibility of both bygone bags. The result? A versatile and utterly convenient carryall; the perfect travel companion. In fact, it’s meticulously cut, stitched and arranged to allow the bag to unfold from flat to standing with one simple gesture, and to fold back into a neat, easy-to-pack square. At that, it’ll fit into your accessories arsenal like the final piece of a jigsaw.

Part of Loewe’s FW23 pre-collection, it has slim handles with clean cross-stitch details that transfuse its sharp folds and a discreet Loewe gold embossed logo. Inside you’ll find a bonded suede lining. Lush, indeed.

A new shiny nappa leather forms its lightweight exterior, coming in black, warm desert, dark khaki, bright ochre and sunrise orange colourways and medium and mini sizes. The mini edition actually features D-rings for adding a strap that can be carried over the shoulder or across the body. A menswear variation of the bag is supersized and crafted in shiny calf leather with black, seaside blue, umber and hunter green editions, as well as a peanut-hue brushed suede version, up for grabs.
