WATCH EMMA WATSON FOR PRADA
Emma Watson is taking over the Pradasphere. The actress and UN ambassador has made her directorial debut in a new short film for Prada. When agreeing to be the face of Prada's new fragrance, Paradoxe, Watson made one request - to direct the film herself. We like her style. "Watson's directorial debut is an empowered celebration of what it means to be a living paradox," notes Prada. "She breaks the mold of the muse to be both in front of and behind the lens, writing her own script and narrating her story, redefining codes to represent her most authentic self." In the film she sits high above treetops, airbender-esque on a floating Prada triangle, "never the same but always herself". The fragrance, which is also housed in the legendary triangular logo, is described as a white floral bouquet, with notes of jasmine, neroli and Serenolide™, 'a new and revolutionary musk molecule'. And of course, it is refillable. "Prada has always gone beyond traditional models and archetypes of conceived beauty and is famous for a femininity that challenges conventions," Watson says. "It's a pleasure to create a campaign and represent a fragrance with such a profound philosophical concept and sustainability initiatives in a way that feels genuinely real and relevant." A perfect Prada match.
