CARTIER PRESENTS THE TANK FRANÇAISE
A French icon, reimagined. First released in 1996, the Cartier Tank Française is back in the spotlight to dominate a new era. With a new design and new technical abilities, the timepiece comes in a new, larger size in steel and yellow gold, available with or without diamonds. The bracelet has been refined, with a single solid link at the case and a satin finish with a sunray dial. “The new Tank Française reflects a creative conviction," says Marie-Laude Cérède, Jewelley and Watchmaking Creative Director. "Like rediscovering the raw nature of a cut stone, it was about capturing the watch's radical shape, simplifying its essential lines and stripping them of all embellishment to return to the myth’s origin.” To celebrate this moment in Tank history, a Cartier crew has come together. Directed by Guy Ritchie, the short film features Rami Malek and Catherine Deneuve hanging out in Paris, Tank Française's gleaming in the sunlight. A celebration of French style and the legend of the Cartier Tank.
