|
Written By:

The ultimate object of desire from SS23. The epic swirling wonderland that was 400 unique Gaetano Pesce-designed chairs has arrived in Miami. Last September, Matthieu Blazy commissioned Pesce to create the vivid colourful chairs for the Bottega Veneta SS23 show space. Now, the collaboration continues at Art Basel. Inside the exhibition, titled Come Stai? the chairs will be on display and available for purchase. Crafted from a cotton canvas and dipped in resin, the chairs are the first original pieces by Pesce in several years, featuring his hand drawings. "This chair is a tribute to diversity. It is about the human being: we are all different," he says. A book also titled Come Stai? and commissioned by Bottega Veneta will be available, featuring an interview between Pesce and Hans Ulrich Obrist exploring the ideation and process of the collaboration. For those headed to Miami, a book signing with Gaetano Pesce will take place on 30 November from 4pm - 6pm at the exhibition space at 153 NE 40th St, Miami, FL 33137.
