TEN BEAUTY FINDS: FEBRUARY

|
Written By:

BEAUTY FINDS IS TEN’S NEW, ONLINE SERIES WHERE BEAUTY AUTHORITY EDWINA INGS-CHAMBERS DISSECTS HER MUST-HAVE BEAUTY FINDS EACH MONTH.

A clean start, thanks to the new Three Suns Balm Revitalising Cleanser from Reome, the British beauty brand already famed for its seriously effective Active Recovery Broth skincare. The cleanser is packed with biotech and bio-fermented actives and has a distinctive and luscious crème/balm texture which emulsifies with water and wipes off to reveal more hydrated and luminous skin. The perfect cleanse.

P.S. There’s an accompanying plush organic cotton face towel too.

Embracing old school beauty elegance à la Elizabeth Taylor style with a travel vanity case – but make it modern with the Rimowa Original collection (top image) complete with the distinctive grooved aluminium case and an interior with a mix of leather linings and water repellent pockets. A-lister beauty status.

Being oil right and embracing the lip oil trend. The Summer Fridays offering is a cult hit but those in the know are also very much loving applying the glossy Rodial Plumping Collagen Lip Oil in the flattering to all Wild Plum shade. The vegan formula contains macadamia oil to boost hydration.

Bunking off and spending the day your way with a spritz of inspiration from Side Story Parfums’ 4PM Matinée eau de parfum. A green, woody amber concoction and notes of bergamot, geranium, lavender and musk it’s classic glamour with a bold spring in its step.

Getting fresh thanks to Malin + Goetz and its decision to extend its Eucalyptus range (the deodorant is one of their bestsellers). So now there’s also a very zingy smoothing body gel and a hand and body scrub.

Pill popping... erm, we mean for skincare of course. Yes, vegan fashion maven Stella McCartney has added to her skincare range by going down the ingestible route with her Alta-Care supplements to boost hydration and collagen.

Kind skincare courtesy of By Sarah and the brand’s first ever moisturiser, Maven. Originally founded by two sisters to create products that would help one of them through harsh medical treatment, this vegan range is kind and gentle to troubled skin whilst providing hydration and supporting the skin barrier. No fragrance, no essential oils.

Going Matchy matchy… Makeup artist Neil Young says he’s really into this look right now and wearing eyeshadows or lip colours that match your outfit rather than counteract it. “It feels more confident and powerful,” he says.
