Impossibly short, daringly low slung and deliciously Y2K, this belt-length skirt is the piece that stole the season. Miu Miu is not ready to give up on this mega-hit item just yet. For AW22, it morphed into a teeny-tiny tennis skirt worn so low you could see the waistbands of the models silk knickers. Tights? They are for wimps. This look demands lashings of bare leg, although Miuccia Prada did allow some models to cover up in roomy mannish coats and shearling jackets. Both those items are Miu Miu staples and the house found other ways to remind us of what it does best.
