Damien Hirst Collaborates With Barrie
Damien Hirst has turned his hand to knitwear. A long-time Barrie lover, the British artist has teamed up with the Scottish cashmere house on a seven-piece, gender-neutral capsule covered in his signature spots and butterflies. Knitted at Barrie’s historic mill in Hawick, the line-up includes a zip-up and a round neck dotted with spots, in white or black with multicoloured dots or white with grey, alongside a butterfly-strewn hoodie and matching trousers in white, black, red and green. There’s a blanket too, in multicoloured or white.
Each piece is numbered from 1 to 100 in every colourway, so consider it the cosiest way to own a Hirst. Rounding things off are a jersey hoodie, cashmere scarves, cotton T-shirts, embroidered patches and a range of collectibles inspired by museum gift shops. Available from October 14 at Barrie boutiques and online.
