The show and the collection squarely faced the ongoing crisis – the weather bubble the models walked inside, like a giant snowstorm, was poignant and profound. Trapped. The models battled against the howling wind as distant lightening flickered across the desolate snowy landscape, inside it was literally freezing. It was about epic endurance in the face of a bleak reality. It was powerful and beautiful. They carried just enough possessions in leather garbage bags as the clouds gathered, lifted and more snow fell. Waders and swashbuckling boots, wool jackets and body suits patched together in Balenciaga packing tape and a few floral spandex dresses survived… It was thought provoking, bleak and brutal. It underlined the sadness that everyone is feeling everywhere but the message was powerful we have to battle, no one is giving up we have to fight back.
