In the lead up to Mardi Gras and the countdown to Issue 15 of 10 Men Australia, we played in our #Calvins with Sean Brady, Anja Brown, Blake Sutherland, Rahnee Bliss Lally and Tashinga Emmanuel are photographed and directed by Cloudy Rhodes and creatively directed by Peter Simon Phillips with makeup by Sean Brady. In the new issue of 10 Men Australia, our Editor Alison Veness speaks to the crew about the LGBTQI+ community. As Anja Brown says: “The community is important to me for when I feel alone and out of place. Being able to surround myself and break bread with others like me is one of the most reaffirming experiences there is. It has provided me with the knowledge that people like me do exist and I'd say that comfort in the early days was extremely important to me being myself. I'm most proud of my resilience and ability to constantly grow and learn as a person. Although being trans and a lesbian can be difficult, I find the experiences I've been through have made me sure of who I am and what I want – and I wouldn't change that for the world.” Read the full story in the new issue of 10 Men Australia, out February 28th.
