Mirror, mirror on the wall, who has the most influence of all? With clients like Yves Tumor, Lady Gaga and Travis Scott, and a new product range about to launch, this creative duo are bossing the zeitgeist.
How would you describe what you do?
Not sure but it involves making cool shit with artists and designers, plenty of shopping and a lot of anxiety.
How do you work with an artist to build their image?
Having a strong identity has allowed us to work with artists who already have strong visions and our job is to elevate them. We’re both obsessive so we like to get lost in their world.
What’s been your proudest image-making moment?
Yves Tumor’s music videos God Is a Circle and Echolalia. The scene in the album teaser that got cut was probably the most proud [moment] because of the image we made, but also the moments making it.

What’s the most rewarding thing about your job?
When we get to see something we’ve been working on with a designer or anything we’re having made. We’re making an object collection called Paraphernalia and we lose our minds when we get prototypes from the factory.
What’s the toughest thing about your job?
Customs, immigration, Fedex and the TSA.
What’s your favourite getting-ready track?
Blind by Korn.
What fashion item gives you the ick?
Nick hates flip-flops, especially when worn in a city, and combat boots in pop videos.
Tell us a tour bus anecdote.
We don’t do tour buses but the one time we did we slept on top of a pile of suitcases from Glastonbury all the way back to London.
How do you deal with superstar demands?
Be more of a superstar than them.
