SAINT LAURENT X JEANLOUP SIEFF

|
Written By:

Time to jet to Paris - or Los Angeles - to take in the Jeanloup Sieff exhibition at Saint Laurent Rive Droite, the creative spaces curated by Anthony Vaccarello that keeps on giving. Sieff is synonymous with Yves Saint Laurent, his black and white photography the essence of 1970s Yves. That nude. “All aspects of photography interest me and I feel for the female body the same curiousity and the same love as for a landscape, a face or anything else which interests me," Sieff said of his work. "In any case, the nude is a form of landscape. There are no reasons for my photographs, no rules; all depends on the mood of the moment, on the mood of the model.”  The Rive Droite exhibition features Sieff's more private works of spaces and nature. We say go see and marvel at the silver gelatin prints and the poetry of his work.

A selection of the photographs will be on display from November 4 to December 7 in Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles.
