Mr Armani was channelling the ease of a summer breeze this season. He is a master at conveying the spirit of summer expertly. This was classic Emporio Armani for our SS24 Europe extravaganzas (we like to be prepared): sheer mini dresses, ultra crop tops paired with teeny shorts, and flashes of iridescence lighting up the Armani theatre. The clothes lightly bounced as the models walked with a pep in their step - twirling and smiling because the life of an Empire Armani woman is pure pleasure and fun. Swirls of sea foam greens and sunset purples flowed through the collection and greys and silvers were electrified with metallics. Crystal Waters’ summer anthem ‘Gypsy Woman’ was on blast as they glided gracefully. Easy, breezy. Outside the show, hundreds of people were queueing in the rain for packets of Armani-fied seeds and soil, as part of a sustainability partnership the brand has announced with Forestami and the city of Milan.
