Emporio Armani: AW26
The first Emporio Armani collection designed between Silvana Armani and Leo Dell'Orco gave great energy. These women and men came mostly in twos, sometimes in packs, and always with ultimate EA ease. Titled Maestro and presented against the backdrop of a fictional music school, the collection was all about discipline and individuality.
What does one wear to get schooled in Armani? Tailcoats, waistcoats, pleated plaid mini grey skirts worn with slouchy leg warmers, three-piece loosely tailored school-grey suits, ultra-light mini dresses swishing and complete with drawstring hoods and embellished shimmering jeans for school night parties. And since this is music school, let's discuss. They walked to the tune of Vice Luna's Limbo with sleek swag, and for the finale, they wore crisp white shirts, all-girls first followed by the boys to Stavroz's The Finishing. The collection had purpose and a levity to it. Class is in session.
