Diotima’s Rachel Scott In At Proenza Schouler

Proenza Schouler has announced its new creative director – Rachel Scott of Diotima. Scott will take the reins on September 2, with her first collection, Autumn/Winter 2026, set to be shown in February 2026.
After it was announced in March that founders Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez would succeed Jonathan Anderson at Loewe, there’s been a question mark over who would succeed them at the New York-based label.
Recognised for her technical knowledge and distinctive design codes which pull influence from across the globe, the brand’s CEO, Shira Suveyke Snyder said Scott “brings a fresh and female perspective to a brand built on the spirit of the modern American woman.”
Speaking on her appointment, Scott said “It is with great excitement that I join Proenza Schouler, a brand at the heart of American Fashion, and one I have long admired. I hold deep respect for the beauty and world Jack and Lazaro so brilliantly crafted, and I look forward to bringing my perspective in dialogue with their legacy. I am grateful to Shira for her trust and I am honoured to step into this role to envision the next chapter of Proenza Schouler.”
