CELINE: MENSWEAR AW26

Celine slyly dropped one of our favourite menswear collections of the season so far. Michael Rider's "classics with a bite," were presented inside Celine HQ on the Rue Vivienne, and featured uber-French collarless raw-edge denim shirts, patterned silky shirts, shark tooth pendants, gleaming camel leather jackets, sleek sweaters and belted wool coats. A full Celine wardrobe for every occasion.
"We took the frame of menswear, and what Celine stands for, and then talked a lot about the energy of today, the here and now, the way people live and want to look," Rider said. "The way we want to feel in clothes. Character over costume. Everything you could need. We feel that Celine is a place to come and get dressed, for all sorts of days and nights and moments in life. Inviting everyone to find the best pieces and then to appropriate them into their lives, their rhythms, their style. It’s about clothes that feel necessary, and personal, in beautiful fabrics that last. An attitude, classics with bite, when discretion and restraint make the right kind of noise." We like walking to the beat of Michael Rider's Celine.
