BOSS: SS26

Presented in a vast warehouse the show unfurled - literally - with an art piece by Boris Acket entitled Aesthetics of Decay. As the epic, fine foil sheets rose up on suspended wires, they created a light ever moving wave of fabulous. Much like Boss which has nailed expert feather weight tailoring.

Favourite pieces in amongst the double shirts, ties worn undone, three quarter length jackets and trench coats, were two sensational flesh coloured silicon pieces. There was the sense that all the models and everyone walking in the show had rolled out of a Berlin night club. They were threading their way home, guided by creative director Marco Falcioni in the most assured way. The German lens is fascinating and lends Boss its own cultural depth. We say ja.
