“Joy as a form of resistance” was the motto behind Priya Ahluwalia’s latest outing. Pictures of former Black Panther leaders at home were a starting point for the designer, who merged more formal flourishes with relaxed silhouettes. There were suits cut wide with an ideal amount of slouch, leather bomber jackets and oversized, mohair cardigans seen throughout.

Ahluwalia gave her womenswear a glamorous bent with draped tops paired with bedazzled skirts, and satin mini dresses that cascaded into fringe trains. Add in an excellent Puma collaboration to the equation – standouts including co-branded track jackets – and you had another great collection from one of London’s favourites.
