ZENDAYA IS THE FACE OF PRADA BEAUTY
Zendaya has been named the global ambassador for Prada Beauty’s Paradoxe fragrance. It was announced over the weekend that the star – who is currently dominating the silver screen as Athena in The Odyssey and MJ in Spider-Man Brand New Day – would be the new face of the scent via a campaign posted to Prada’s Instagram. Directed by the Academy Award-winning Barry Jenkins, the appointment coincides with the introduction of Prada Paradoxe’s newest iteration – the Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum.
“I love how Paradoxe celebrates complexity, capturing both strength and vulnerability without trying to frame or define someone,” says Zendaya on the announcement. “For me, the fragrances we choose are a reflection of how we move through the world. Joining the brand felt like a completely natural extension of that mindset, especially since Paradoxe was already a personal favourite that I wore long before I was approached.” The collaboration was slyly teased to us through a series of show-stopping looks for the Odyssey press tour, with Ernesto Casillas creating angelic magic on Zendaya with all-Prada Beauty product looks. Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry will be released in Auhstralia later this month.
