Anyone fancying a trip to Japan once this is all over? Well, you will now. In honour of Louis Vuitton’s rich cultural history, the house welcomes all those near to the heart of Tokyo’s Shibuya district to its new Japanese-focused exhibition.

Dubbed Louis Vuitton &, the exhibition is focused on the brand’s admiration for the country, celebrating the artistic visionaries that have inspired or collaborated with the iconic fashion house. Split into 10 immersive spaces, Louis Vuitton & guides you through the years starting from when 16-year-old Louis Vuitton himself landed in the streets of Paris.

As you tour between the rooms, you will walk into “The World of Louis Vuitton” as seen through the eyes of Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo, which is followed by the “Bag as Blank Canvas”, an installation displaying a slew of the most sought after monogram bag collaborations throughout the years – Yayoi Kusama and Takashi Murakami, included.

Whether it’s about the house itself or the honourable Japanese artists and designers who have worked with Louis Vuitton, each room is packed with loads of educational tidbits which will leave you feeling like you know anything and everything about LV once you leave those doors. You don’t want to miss this.
