LOUIS VUITTON LAUNCHES LA BEAUTE

Beauty obsessives and collectors, unite. The first look at Louis Vuitton's La Beauté line has arrived. Crafted under the creative direction of makeup genius Dame Pat McGrath, the collection features 55 shades of fragrance-infused lipsticks, bold and ultra-pigmented; 10 shades of LV Balme, a luminous sheer counterpart, and LV Ombres, four-shade eyeshadow palettes for a very Louis Vuitton shimmery glow.
“With product development I have always been obsessed with the smallest of details: the perfection needed in product texture, the precise application methods, just the right amount of pigment pay-off, and how products should make you feel," says McGrath. "I always like to push boundaries with makeup — and this métier is no different.”
Working with German designer Konstantin Grcic, the architecture of La Beauté is naturally LV-mongrammed and crafted to be a keepsake. "Heirloom-worthy," as Pat McGrath says. “The starting point for our design language was the golden ring - a detail inspired by the brass fittings of Louis Vuitton’s iconic trunks. It’s a nod to heritage, but also a powerful marker of identity within the beauty line," said Grcic. “The way it feels in your hand, the sound of the closure, the temperature of the materials - these are all part of the emotional connection.” The refillable objects have also been designed with sustainability at the forefront. "This isn't just about aesthetics," he continues. "It's about creating makeup that is functional, refillable and wrothy of being kept for years to come."
As McGrath says, "make-up is more than product: it’s performance, obsession and emotion. This new chapter is about pushing craftsmanship into a new realm.” We are obsessed. The collection launches on August 29th.
