EMMA CHAMBERLAIN FOR LOUIS VUITTON
It's been a good week for Emma Chamberlain. Our favourite hilarious YouTube legend went to her first Met Gala in gleaming Louis Vuitton (duh) and interviewed all the fabulous people. This season, she's taking to the streets of LA - Rodeo Drive - to test drive Louis Vuitton's new lineup of shoes. The iconic Pillow boot is back: a feather-filled and quilted recycled Econyl nylon creates the ultimate puffer jacket-esque boot. It's giving early 2000s brilliance. The Patti boot (above) is biker jacket-inspired - say no more - with metallic LV engraved-studs in both ankle boot or longer styles. She's tough. The LV Beaubourg derby is so very Emma, on a chunky platform sole with the Monogram-patterned canvas and the same laces as the Archlight sneaker, for those who are keeping up. The Metropolis boot is that classic urban Louis Vuitton combat boot, this season protected in leather and a black and white Monogram-patterned jacquard velvet. Naturally, we want them all. Nicolas Ghesquière gives us the goods and Emma keeps us wanting more.
