CHANEL BEAUTY'S OMBRE ESSENTIELLE
The next instalment from Chanel's Makeup Creation Studio has arrived, titled Ombre Essentielle. Designed by Cometes Collective member Cécile Paravina has sketched out a new generation of eyeshadows. Inspired by the House's rich colour history, Cécile has magicked up 14 new, fabulous shades of Chanel in satins and metallics that each tell special stories.
Brun Talpa, is a soft shade of brown that mimics the weathered jackets worn by the Duke of Westminister, Rouge Cuir is a classic, deep Chanel shade that recalls the lining inside a Chanel 2.55 handag, and Beige Suede is the golden glow of the sofa in Gabrielle Chanel's 31 rue Cambon apartment. Studious shadows. Standouts include the epic lilac Lilas Poudré, the calming Jade Facetté and the universal Blanc Perle. It's a Chanel girl's dream collection.
To top it off, Cécile has crafted three new limited-edition shades of the iconic Noir Allure Mascara, aka our favourite mascara on the market. An orangey-red, a brick brown and a pastel lilac mauve have been developed to compliment all eyeshadow concoctions. Ombre Essentielle is available from May 2.
