It’s less than two weeks until the much anticipated Gabrielle Chanel Fashion Manifesto exhibition opens at the NGV and Tilda Swinton is here to continue to hype us up. Inside the exhibition at the Palais Galleria, Tilda speaks about Gabrielle Chanel and her legacy: “She was looking for and she found a code. The inspiration of the work and the developing sensibility that the exhibition shows is a sort of masterclass in how a creative mind develops over those many decades. They will be recognised by people in Melbourne and wherever this show goes.” Oh yes they will. The exhibition will open at the NGV on December 4th, 2021 to April 25th, 2022.
