Stefano Gabbana has resigned from Dolce & Gabbana. According to a recent Bloomberg report, the fashion mogul has resigned his position as chairman of the company and is considering alternative options for his 40% stake in the brand. Gabbana, who founded the Italian luxury label along with Domenico Dolce, originally stepped down in December however the resignation has only just been reported. Since he left his post, Alfonso Dolce, Domenico’s brother has taken over as chairman. The same report also states that the firm is set to appoint former Gucci CEO Stefano Cantino to the top job, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.
