It was a Thelma and Louise summer that stretched ahead. The ultimate road trip through Death Valley with Neil Young’s Harvest on repeat. It was hot and it was only going to get hotter. We cranked up the air-con and whistled down the wind, life was good with this much booty on the dashboard and Rexy swinging from the rear view. We kicked the dust off our boots and polished our Troupes and rallied our Tabby’s. And just when we were feeling saddle sore we checked into the Matterhorn Motel an alpine retreat in the mirage of the desert heat. As we relaxed in the room watching Nurse Betty on the old TV and necking a bottle of Budweiser we thought heck, where would we be without all this goodness? And we thanked heck for Stuart Vevers too, the creative director at Coach, and we metaphorically pinned a lone star to his lapel. Call us the bounty hunters, call us locked and loaded.
