The Art Gallery of New South Wales is set to reopen on June 1. “Art is a source of hope and inspiration in difficult times and we’ve been very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back to the Gallery, again providing access for all to our State’s exceptional art collection and special exhibitions,” said the Gallery’s director, Michael Brand. Visitors to the gallery will be able to view, free of charge, the 22nd Biennale of Sydney as well as the exhibitions Shadow Catchers, Under the Stars and Some Mysterious Process. The 2020 Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes have been postponed until later in the year. Time for a socially distanced date to the AGNSW.
