Elizabeth Taylor’s wardrobe is currently crossing the Atlantic on the Queen Mary 2 but overnight it has been announced that some of her most prised, prestigious pieces in her wardrobe will be part of an auction at the end of the year. The auction will include iconic pieces including the brilliant sea green Givenchy suit she wore in 1987, as well as Cartier bracelets from the ultimate Cartier woman, pieces of art she collected, a Versace beaded biker jacket, a New York Yankees jacket worn in 2004 for a shoot with Bruce Weber and the Edith Head pastel blue dress she wore to a premiere in 1974. The auction will be held at Julien’s Auctions in California for two days starting December 6th. She is our kind of legend – an incredible actress, with fabulous taste in fashion and men.
