Love Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s vision for the post pandemic woman grappling with the fantasy of dressing up and escapism. They responded to these needs with their SS22 collection a solid line up of draped, sliced, ruffled and light-handed prints. The fringed dresses dripping in beads and excellent tailored jackets worn with slouchy pants had us panting for more. Their nod to nature with the ‘shroom’ printed silk satin dress and the spectacular sunrise caped dress went straight to the pool room. With half the collection presented barefoot, the intention to possibly keep us grounded and connected worked with a soft army of sunrise colours showing how easy this glamorous life can be.
