Model and friend of the House, Ola Rudnicka is not only the face of Chanel’s AW21 pre-collection, but the inspiration. Virginie Viard’s was inspired by Ola’s masculine-feminine style when creating the collection, filled with oversized, wide-collared coats; flashes of shades of grey and pink; and tweed embellished with sequins. “There are things that I didn’t realise in the way I dress," says Ola. “I never tried to define my style before. We could say I discovered it via Chanel. There is no better way… It’s actually very 70s and a bit punk, with this classic Chanel hint in a way which is very elegant.” Tweed jackets are tucked into sequinned flannel trousers, leather boots are high and skirts are mini. Parisienne punk elegance. We like it.
