GUCCI X THE NORTH FACE: CHAPTER TWO
It’s a new year, a new dawn, a new day and we’re feeling damn good because Gucci is back with a surprise second chapter of the collaboration with The North Face. In what was statistically the most popular fashion collaboration of 2021, the next chapter is a continuation of the adventures of the Gucci gang in their double G stamped North Face puffers. This time the gang is exploring Iceland to the sounds of Moby, filmed by French twins Jalan and Jibril Durimel and creatively directed by Alessandro Michele. They hike through volcanic black sand and over electric green hills wearing their ‘90s North Face in technicolour Gucci archival prints, hiking boots and insulated jackets. This chapter is a commitment from both brands to support eco-sustainable activities right don to the packaging, using ECONYL throughout the collection, as well as 100% of the down insulation being certified to the Responsible Down Standard by Control Union.
