GABRIELLE CHANEL AND MUSIC
The next chapter inside Chanel has arrived: Chapter 31, the chapter of music. Voila! Gabrielle Chanel dreamt of being a café-concert singer, performing songs like Qui qu’a vu Coco [Who Has Seen Coco?], the birth of her nickname. Gabrielle’s friendship with Igor Stravinsky was her teacher of the world of music, and when he composed The Five Fingers in 1921, Gabrielle created N°5. Music has always been an intrinsic part of the House, from ambassadors like Pharrell Williams, to brilliant show music by Michel Gaubert. Watch Inside Chanel: Chapter 31, above.
