Prada is on a mission. It’s been almost a month since the power House announced it was launching Re-Nylon, a sustainable line of the iconic nylon Prada bag styles using regenerated nylon Econyl. The evolution is continuing with a series of Re-Nyon films. The second to be released sees 10 cover girl Adut Akech return to Africa for the first time in years to visit Cameroon with National Geographic explorer Joe Cutler. Together they explore Prada’s Re-Nylon supply chain, looking into the nets in Lake Ossa, which are then recycled and transformed into the Econyl. It’s 2019 and this is the kind of content we want. By the end of the year 2021, Prada aims to convert all virgin nylon into Re-Nylon. The marathon continues. Watch the film below.
