They called it “Rude” except it wasn’t at all rude, it had energy but then when doesn’t a Ten Pieces collection/event have attitude and energy. Icebergs, hello. Ten Pieces Resort 19, was our kind of energy, grounded, marching to it’s own beat and with a growing sense of going somewhere other than just a club. Military cargo pants were slick and matchy matchy with iron down shirts, flashes of acid yellow taped on; skinny, black, lightly tailored suits were new, and while it was a nod to post punk, Buffalo Girls etc Timberlands and cowboy boots and all that there wasn’t much protest here in this unisex world. It was hard and fast cool alright. We like what Lucy Hinckfuss does, and Maurice Terzini, it just seems on the money.
