Marc Jacobs, who for the past few seasons has always been strictly on time, was fashionably late. Like an hour and a half late. But Marc is the man and so very much worth the wait. Go hard or go home was the vibe. The bigger the better. Vaudeville, darling. He put on a show. Netted veils lightly covered their faces, sleeves billowed and boomed and marabou feathers flounced with all their might. Everything ruffled, sizzled and rippled up around necks and shoulders in glittering sequin salmons and shades of baby blues and sea foam greens. Kaia rocked that Queen Elizabeth style headscarf, the hottest sunshine yellow lighting the place up, gloves on. Suit pants were wide legged and loose, hands in the pockets with boater hats. It was fun and fabulous. Give us all the drama, theatre, comedy. Funny but make it fashion.
