The ultimate dresser of icons, (Audrey, Grace, Marlene, Jackie, Greta…) Hubert de Givenchy has passed away at 91. One of the fashion greats, he established a couture house that is now synonymous with true French class. Graceful and gracious. He created beautiful clothes for women. He wore the white coat of the serious couturier appearing in tit at the end of every show. Clare Waight Keller is now the keeper of the flame, and her collections to date are close to the original aesthetic that M. Givenchy stood for, absolute femininity.
