Hermès heaven has been found. Opening it’s second store in Melbourne, Hermès are marking their territory at Chadstone with a new boutique that is really quite beautiful. In a collaboration with Australian artist Anna-Wili Highfield, her artwork Pegasus is the official first window for the store, flying high with an airborne skateboard. Inside, a mosaic tiled floor – blue, white and caramel – is stamped with the Hermès logo because H marks the spot. The space is divided into three cubic spaces that all connect. The first is the domain for women’s and men’s ready-to-wear as well as silk and perfume. A good start. The second space is filled with leather, equestrian and homeware collections and in the centre is the lair of jewellery and watches.
