Full steam ahead into it’s ninth year the Australia Fashion Foundation is continuing to support young emerging talent, facilitating so many relationships between Australia and New York. AUSFF founder Malcolm Carfrae is the driving force, last night announcing the annual scholarships. “Australian universities are producing world-class fashion talent but there simply aren’t enough opportunities in Australia. So, with the support of QICGRE and AAA, we help these young people obtain world-class experience at top global brands and the best mentors,” said Malcolm. The fashion graduates Helena Dong (below) and Amanda Nichols (above) were awarded with a financial grant of $US20,000 and a six-month internship at a global fashion house in Europe or the USA, to guide them in pursuing their talent on an international scale. Go forth and conquer.
