Hedi Slimane ain’t messing around. It’s been less than a week since Celine announced that they would join the Paris menswear schedule in January, and now overnight the House has released Hedi Slimane’s first menswear campaign for the brand. It’s a solid 3 minutes and 20 seconds of the Spring/Summer 2019 collection – genderless slim suiting, if you remember correctly – photographed by Hedi in London and animated into a black and white sort of chic slideshow to the soundtrack of French music duo Ruth. So very Hedi. The SS19 collection will be available to purchase in February… until then we shall do as the Celine boys do – slouch around in suits, getting our portrait taken listening to French synth-pop. Oui oui.
